A WRITTEN INTENTION
A wish with somewhere to go.
Give yourself a few quiet minutes and a piece of paper. You do not need a candle, a crystal or the right mood to begin.
Name what you want to welcome.
Write one sentence beginning with “I am making room for…” Choose words that describe your own life and actions.
Make room on the page.
Below it, write what you are ready to put down for today. It can be an expectation, a distraction or a task that can wait.
Give the intention a next step.
Choose something small and within your control: send the note, open the document, rest for ten minutes or ask for help. Write when you will do it.
Close with your own words.
Read the page once. Keep it somewhere you can find it. This is a practice of reflection and choice; it does not promise a particular outcome.
